National Council for Economic and Development Research, NAREC Nepal is a non profitable and nongovernmental research based organization. It was established in January, 2000. It has been registered in District Administration Office, Kathmandu and it is affiliated in Social Welfare Council Kathmandu, Nepal. The Thematic objective of the institution is to work for developing applicable socio economic development models, sectoral policies and to make recommendation to the government. Other objectives are to conduct various research activities in the field of economic and social development.
